Put on those dancing shoes

Dancing alone is hard, but the more people join the easier it gets to catch the rhythm. When everyone is dancing it is almost awkward not to be moving along.

So, what is the point of being B Certified? It is to get a reason to face the music and dance.

Getting B certified is not a goal in itself. Certification only goes to show that you have been on the right track. The real journey begins from there.

In the B Impact Assessment, we at HCP received 97.8 points out of 200. So, there is plenty of room for improvement.

However, we have started the dance.

Say, 20 years from now we might look back and think “what on earth were we working so hard on back then?” It might be, that stakeholder capitalism and sustainable business models have become a new norm and there is no need for B Certification anymore.

Well, then our work today would have served its purpose.

The point of becoming a B Corp is not to be certified and stop there. It is to get you moving to the grooving while getting some support from others on the dancefloor.

So, why won’t you put on those dancing shoes and join the B Corp community: Finland (group on LinkedIn).
