HCP presents B nights for people in business who are hoping to become a B Corp, or simply interested in what this movement is about.

The idea came to us while we saw the interest in a Slush side event ‘To B or not to B: balancing purpose and profit’ surge and busted the registration limit a few weeks ahead of the event.

What is a B Corp?

Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

HCP became certified in 2017 as the first B Corporation in Finland. Since then we have promoted the idea by organising a B Summit (2017) and talking about it in our Sustainability Reports.

What do we expect from B nights?

B nights are the opportunity where you can meet other people who are interested in the values B Corps represent. A particular focus is on people working towards certification: we would like to have some time on a discussion on sharing experiences.

Dates and timing

B nights start at after working hours. We invite people to join us around 17:00 onwards. Booking your place is not strictly necessary. Just turn up.
